JAMMU: A deputation of J&K Post Graduate Teachers Association (PGTA) led by its Convenor, Naresh Kumar Sharma met Director School Education, Jammu Babila Rakwal and apprised her about the Promotion Scam in which the then Director School Education promoted 1,193 teachers as masters.
The association alleged that the promoted masters have obtained B.Ed degrees from unrecognized universities and involved in number of criminal cases whose enquiries are still pending. “All these promotions were made without the availability of vacancies.
