Bus turns turtle, 17 passengers injured

SAMBA: A superfast passenger bus turned turtle on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Jatwal resulting in injuries to 17 passengers.
According to a report, a bus bearing (JK21-6818) on its way to Kathua from Samba on reaching Jatwal suddenly turned turtle on the road in which seventeen passengers got injured.
After getting the information SHO Ghagwal Amit Singh Andotra along with his team reached the spot and rushed all the injured to Ghagwal Hospital from where three people were referred to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for treatment.
The injured person have been identified as Sanjeev Singh son of Parveen Singh resident of Pollet Barnoti Kathua, Sonu Kumar son of Bishamber Dass resident of Kandwal Hiranagar, Sunil Raj son Doulat Raj resident of Chadwal, Radha wife of Doura Chand resident of Rajinderpura Vijaypur, Kamla Devi wife of Santosh Singh resident of Kathua, Veena Devi wife of Ram Parsad resident of Hiranagar, Deepti Rani daughter of Parshotam Singh resident of Sanji Morh Kathua, Mohinder Singh son of Chajju Singh resident of Ward No 17 Kathua, Nisha Devi wife of Dharam Chand resident of Kathua, Sarishta Devi wife of Parkash Singh resident of Chann rorian Kathua, Varsha Devi daughter of Babu Nath resident of Khokhyal Kathua, Mantu Kumar son of Bishan resident of Nagri Kathua, Jogeshwar Singh son of Roop Singh resident of Ghagwal, Chetan son of Vijay Kumar resident of Kathua, Vipan Kumar son of Chaman Lal resident of Kathua and Babu son of Hans Raj resident of Tapyal Ghagwal. Police has taken cognizance in the matter and started investigation.
