SRINAGAR: Burn Hall Club among four teams today qualified for the quarterfinals of ongoing under-19 boys’ knock-out football tournament at Polo Ground, here.
To qualify for the last eight position, Burn Hall defeated Hawal Club by a solitary goal. The only goal of the match came through Ali Fazli.
In another match of the day, Challenger Novelty Red trounced Black Bulls Jawahar Nagar by two goals to nil. Zubair netted both the goals. Milat Football Academy defeated Yasir Sports Padshahibagh 3-1. Zafar and Munir were the scorers while Adil reduced the margin from Jawaharnagar.
Tengpora Club also won their pre-quarterfinal match outplaying Kashmir Volleyball Club, Bhaghat 2-1 in a close contest. Shafqat scored both the goals for the winning side while Uzair netted the lone goal from Kashmir Valley.
