SAMBA: Burglars on late Wednesday night struck a household in village Gagore in Vijaypur here and decamped with gold ornaments, electrical gadgets, clothing and cash worth Rs. 75,000.
According to report, one Gurmeet Singh son of Raja Singh, resident of Gagore in Vijaypur lodged a complaint in Police Station Vijaypur that burglars have looted 14-15 Tolas of gold ornaments, inverter along with battery, clothing and Rs.75,000 from his residence on late Wednesday night as he along with his family was out for last some days to visit some relatives. Gurmeet said that it was his neighbours who informed him about the burglary on Thursday morning after they noticed broken doors. In this regard, Vijaypur police has registered the case vide FIR No. 9/16 under Sections 457 and 380 RPC.
