Budget 2024-25 to lay foundation of developed India: Chugh

‘J&K budget development-oriented, future-shaping’

KISHTWAR: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Wednesday said that the first budget of the third term of the NDA government at the Center under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation of a developed India in 2024-25.
Addressing public meeting in Kishtwar, Chugh said this is an all-touching, all-inclusive and visionary budget that will strengthen industries and infrastructure, besides ensuring the welfare of the poor, women, youth and the breadwinner class.
“In this budget, there is an indelible impression of the progress and it is also the basis of agricultural development and prosperity of farmers”, he said, adding that sky is limit for the youth to move forward and it also brings a smile on the faces of the poor. This budget, filled with the energy of self-reliant India, dedicated to employment generation, he added.
On his own and on behalf of crores of party workers, Chugh congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and their entire team for this budget that embodies the concept of developed India. The budget of Jammu and Kashmir is also a development-oriented and future-shaping budget that has been formulated keeping in mind all sections of citizens of the Union Territory, he maintained.
Chugh said that in the past 10 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, such a system has been created in which the beneficiaries are getting their entitlements directly into their bank accounts without any middleman and without any leakage. During these years, about 25 crore people have come out of the poverty line. India is continuously setting records in exports due to Product Link Incentive (PLI) and Make in India initiative. In the past one decade, Indian economy has moved towards formal economy. Digital India has not only strengthened the country’s economy but is also leaving a global mark”, he asserted.
“This budget is going to encourage employment, skill development and natural farming”, Chugh said, adding that the Prime Minister’s decision to launch Tribal Advanced Village Campaign is a commendable initiative. It will cover 63,000 villages, benefiting 5 crore tribal brothers, he said.
Chugh said that Indian economy is on the right track and moving towards a bright future. “Once again, I convey my best wishes and congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi , Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and their entire team for this welfare budget”.
Referring to terror violence, the BJP National General Secretary said that those having weapons in their hands and attacking citizens of the country will not go unpunished.
“Action will be taken. Safety of our citizens is most important for the BJP”, he asserted.
