BSS organises 30th Vidya Bharti NZ Yogasan Sports competition

JAMMU: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS), Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday organised Vidya Bharti North Zone 30th Yogasan Sports competition in BVM High School Amphalla in under-14, 17 and 19 (boys & girls) categories.
A total of 150 players from five states of North Zone are participating in the programme.
The competition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
The programme was presided over by Surinder Attri, General Secretary Vidya Bharti North Zone.
The main speaker, Ashok Babber, General Secretary Vidya Bharti Punjab and Khelkud Prabhari of North Zone, said that the Vidya Bharti was awarded the best State award by SGFI in sports, discipline and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. “We are organising such events in other games in September and October in all the five states of north zone,” he informed. Surinder Attri and Shiv Sharma assured their full co-operation to Samiti and invited all the players to holy town of Katra to visit Vaishno Devi Shrine. Baldev Sharma, Incharge Sports Vidya Bharti North Zone, Rajesh Kumar and his team of officials were honoured by the Samiti. Ram Lal Sharma Senior Vice President, Pradip Kumar Organising Secretary, Hari Bhushan, Satish Mittal Treasurer, Ranjana Bajaj, Pradip Singh, Rakesh Marhatta and all Samiti members were present on the occasion. The prize distribution and closing ceremony will be held in the school auditorium tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
