BSS’ 29th State Kabbadi Meet


BVM Dadwara wins U-14 title, BVM Amphalla U-19

JAMMU: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) School Dadwara, Billawar lifted under-14 and host BVM High School Amphalla under-19 title of 29th State Kabbadi Meet for under-11, 14 and 17 years boys organised by Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti (BSS) Jammu Kashmir in BVM High School Ambphalla, here on Saturday.
A total of 100 players from seven schools of six zones of Jammu Province participated in the programme.
BVM Amphalla stood second and BVM Udhampur third in under-14 category while in under-17 second prize went to BVM Udhampur and BVM Dadwara stood third.
The prize distribution function was presided over by Pradip Kumar Organising Secretary BSS J and K.
Satish Mittal, President BVM Amphalla and Treasurer BSS J and K, Samir Krishan Saproo Khel Kud Pramukh, BSS J and K and Rakesh Marhatta, Principal were also present.
The event was conducted by Kuldip Raj, Tilak Raj, Mulkh Raj, Jail Singh, Dilear Singh, Balbir Singh and Sushil Kumar.
Pradip Kumar hoped that these young players will honour the country in sports field.
The selected teams will represent J and K in Vidya Bharti North Zone Games to be held in Uchana Jind Haryana from August 25 to 28, 2017.
