JAMMU: On the 49th Raising Day, Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier HQ Jammu on Monday organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Department of Blood Transfusion, Government Medical College Jammu at Frontier Hospital Jammu.
About 115 officers/SOs and ORs donated blood to save the precious lives of needy patients.
IG BSF Jammu, Rakesh Kumar Sharma delivered a lecture on the importance of blood donation and appreciated the work done by volunteer blood donors.
The camp was organised by the efforts Dr. Vinod Kumar, Commandant (Med), Ftr Hospital Jammu and his dedicated medical staff.
MO Incharge Blood Bank, GMCH, Dr. Rubia Rehan also gave her valuable thoughts on the importance of blood donation.
