POONCH: Senior army officer, Commander 93 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier N.S Brar on Saturday visited the ongoing special coaching camp, organised by J and K State Sports Council, for young players at Sports Stadium, Poonch, here.
Brig Brar interacted with the campers and encouraged them to take part in sports amidst good wishes for a bright future. He also shared his experiences with boys and girls of the border district.
Earlier, camp incharge and weightlifting coach of the State Sports Council, Ashok Singh presented a brief note of the camp and introduced the team of qualified coaches to the gathering.
Important to mention here that a team of senior and qualified coaches of the Sports Council are presently at Poonch to train over 100 young boys and girls in different sports disciplines of hockey, volleyball, football, kabaddi and boxing.
