Brahmakumaris Mount Abu honours Kathua sisters


KATHUA: The Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Viswa Vidyalaya, Mount Abu honoured nine Brahmakumaris sisters who are giving their services in District Kathua. The Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Viswa Vidyalaya having its Headquarter at Mount Abu is a non-profit making worldwide organisation engaged in propagating the message of universal peace, harmony, brotherhood and promoting moral and ethical values in life.
This organisation has recently honoured 2,500 sisters chosen from over120 countries who have been in active godly service for the last twenty five years. Nine sisters of District Kathua were honoured at Mount Abu. To commemorate the occasion, Brahmakumaris of District Kathua organised a function at Shiv Shakti Bhawan , Billawar to honour sister Santosh and sister Sheelu who are operating from Billawar and Mahanpur- Basohli centres.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority was the Chief Guest on the occasion while BK Veena, the District Head of Brahmakumaris centres of Distt. Kathua presided over.
A colourful cultural programme was also organised on the occasion which was witnessed by a large number of people. The Chief Guest honoured BK Sister Santosh and BK sister sheelu on the occasion. The gifts given to the honoured sisters at Mount Abu were also displayed on the occasion.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, CEO, LSDA congratulated both the sisters for selfless services to the society and exhorted others to follow the moral and ethical values to become better and responsible citizens. BK Shubh Kumar, BK Radha and a large number of persons were also present on the occasion.
