BPCL launches 5 kg free trade LPG cylinders

JAMMU: The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) in its endeavour to reach every nook and corner of the State on Friday launched 5kg Free Trade LPG cylinders at Maa Vaishno Devi Gas Agency Channi Himmat Jammu jointly by its LPG Territory Manager and Head of LPG J&K State and Himachal Pardesh, Surinder Dogra, Territory Manager Retail J&K Rajesh Sharma and Manager Sales LPG S.K Dutta in presence of Manager Lube Sales J&K Mayur Mehta, Territory Co-ordinator Retail M.A Wani, President Hotel and Restaurant Association, Katra Rakesh Wazir, Assistant Manager R&C O.P Langay, former MLA Balwan Singh, Rakesh Verma, Sumeet Mahajan and Tavinder Kaur.
Dogra said that the scheme will prove to be a blessings in disguise for small establishments having less consumption of gas and want to have that immediately without having their permanent gas connection.
He further said that with the launch of this scheme the dependence of the people on the other sources of energy including wood, kerosene etc will lower down.
Rakesh Wazir while thanking the company people said that this step will reduce the pollution level also in addition to its other benefits which is occurring due to the use of kerosine oil and wood and all small energy users including Rehris, Kiosks, small shops would take a sigh of relief.
