Dear Editor
The ongoing campaign on social media for boycotting Chinese goods is surely a welcome gesture on part of Indian people. But it is difficult to find any established brand, especially in electronics sector, that does not have the product, or a part of it, manufactured in China. So, it is not practical to completely boycott Chinese goods. However, we can avoid purchasing goods of everyday use to counter China that dumps unsafe and cheap quality products in India. We need to exercise selective control. All classes and categories of businessmen should avoid trading in goods which are easily available and can be manufactured or fabricated in India.
