RAMBAN: Police on Tuesday foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescued 4 bovines from the clutches of smuggler.
According to a report, a police party, headed by Inspr Arun Kotwal, SHO Police Station Dhamkund under the supervision of Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban, laid a Naka at Gool- Ramban Link Road and found one person namely Abdul Rashid son of Mohd Qasim resident of Kanga smuggling four bovines on foot from Gool to Kashmir without permission.
Accordingly, the animals were rescued, bovine smuggler was arrested and a case under FIR No. 08/2015 section 188 RPC registered against him at Police Sttaion Dhamkund.
