Bootlegger nabbed with 30 bottles of illicit liquor

SAMBA: Police on Tuesday a bootlegger and recovered 30 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession while another bootlegger managed to escape.
According to a report, a party of Ghagwal Police Station led by SI Rajeshwar Singh SHO laid a Naka near Tapyal Morh and intercepted two person along with bag. On seeing police Naka, one tried to escape but another was arrested. During search of the bag, police recovered 30 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused was identified as Mohan Singh son of Karanil Singh resident of Chhan Kahtriyan Hiranagar and a case vide FIR NO 73/2017 under section 48 A Excise Act registered against him in Police station Ghagwal.
As per SI Rajeshwar Singh SHO Police Station Ghagwal the escaped criminal is a notorious liquor vendor and identified as Shashipal Son of Desraj Sharma resident of Marheen Tehsil Hiranagar district Kathua and manhunt has been launched to nab him.
