BHADARWAH: Police on Sunday arrested one bootlegger and recovered 36 nips of country liquor and two beer bottles from his possession.
According to reports, Bhadarwah police apprehended one Rajinder Kumar, son of Gori Shanker, resident of Seri, Bhalla, running a fish shop at Seri, and recovered 36 nips of country liquor and two bottles of beer from his possession.
A case vide FIR No 142/16 under Section 48A Excise Act was registered and investigation is going on. The recovery was made under the supervision of SDPO Bhadarwah Sajjad Khan, Additional SP Bhadarwah Sargun Shukla and SSP Doda, Zahid Naseem Manhas.
