SRINAGAR: Police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
On specific information, Bijbehara Police laid a Naka at Green Tunnel in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara. During Naka checking one person was intercepted who was later identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat resident of Ganjiwara Janglatmandi, Anantnag. On checking his bag, 26 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered. A case FIR number 103/2016 under Section 50 Excise Act was registered and investigation was taken up.
