JAMMU: The Primary Wing of JK Public School Kunjwani turned into a vibrant arena of joy, pride, and patriotism as it hosted an exuberant ‘Fun day & Family fiesta Day’ celebration for Grades III to V.
The campus echoed with laughter, cheers, and slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”, as students immersed themselves in a day designed to rejuvenate minds, celebrate familial bonds, and ignite nationalistic spirit.
This meticulously curated event, promised and delivered, an unforgettable experience. With a dynamic blend of sports, music, dance, art, and a spirited march past, the young JKiians not only showcased their talents but also displayed exemplary coordination and confidence. The enthusiastic march past set the tone for the day, capturing hearts with its energy and patriotic chants that infused the campus with pride and purpose.
Gracing the occasion were esteemed dignitaries: Gautam Daluja, Management Member; Shashi Chaudhary, Director, JK Educational Society; Rajesh Rathore, Principal JKPS Kunjwani; Roopinder Kaur, Vice Principal; Inderjeet Kaur, School Coordinator; and Anju Jamwal, Wing Coordinator, Primary Wing.
The second half of the event was dedicated to the celebration of ‘Parents’ Day’, a heartfelt tribute to the unwavering support and love of parents. The school’s vision of strengthening the school-home partnership was beautifully realized through activities that encouraged parents to engage, express, and celebrate. The auditorium came alive with soulful performances, interactive games, and touching moments of gratitude from students to their parents.
Principal Rajesh Rathore lauded the parents for their overwhelming presence and enthusiastic participation, especially for sharing their hidden talents on stage. He appreciated the collaborative spirit displayed throughout the event.
He extended his heartfelt thanks to the school management for extending their incredible support. He lauded the Director Shashi Chaudhary for her gracious presence and incessant encouragement. He concluded by wishing the students a refreshing and joyful summer break, urging them to relax, recharge, and return with renewed enthusiasm.
As a token of appreciation, beautifully handcrafted gifts-lovingly made by the students-were presented to the winners, ensuring that the memories of the day would be cherished for a long time to come.
