Bollywood actress to work for promotion of KP culture

JAMMU: Bollywood celebrity Prayrina Bhat has joined hands with Vomedh Rangmanch-a renowned theatre group as its brand ambassador to promote the group in India and abroad and also work with the theater group to propagate the rich cultural heritage of Kashmiri Pandits through stage.
This was disclosed by Prayrina Bhat and Rohit Bhat, Director Vomedh Rangmanch while addressing a press conference here on Monday. Speaking to media persons, Prayrina Bhat, who is a well known face in Mumbai film circuits as a talented actor, said that she was impressed by the tremendous work done by Vomedh Rangmanch in Jammu to preserve the cultural heritage of Kashmiri Pandits through their plays and decided to extend her help by promoting the group as its brand ambassador in India and abroad wherever she will go for her film shoots.
She said that Vomedh Rangmanch was contributing in preservation of KP culture in a big way and was getting support from various organisations which was evident from yesterday’s mega event of ‘Sangam’ fully supported by KPIT- Samith. Prayrina said that she has worked with Rohit Bhat in Mumbai and was keen to join Vomedh as an artist also to work in its plays as the group has already made a huge impact on the theatre scene in Jammu and elsewhere.
Prayrina, who hails from Sarwal and started her career as a dancer in Jammu, has been working in various film and television serials, thanked Vomedh and Rohit Bhat for inviting her as celebrity guest to their mega even ‘Sangam’ and hoped that the group would continue to organise such shows in future.
Rohit Bhat thanked KPIT-Samith group for their support and declared that the group would continue to bring new and innovative plays to the audience depicting the real cultural heritage of the Jammu and Kashmir state. Those who attended the press conference include Organizing Secretary KPIT Ajay Koul, Sanjay Bhat, Aryan Ramesh, Kewal and Shishank Bhat.
