SRINAGAR: The body of a missing person was recovered in Kuligam area of Kupwara District.
Police recovered a male body from the forest area near Kuligam Nard, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lalpora. The body was identified as that of Mamdin Khatana son of Baru Khatana resident of Kuligam.
The deceased was missing from his home since 2nd May 2016. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. A case was registered in this regard to ascertain the cause of his death.
