JAMMU: To promote the traditional folk culture of J and K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in coordination with STAP, presented its 138th Saturday series musical play ‘Doli’ at Village Phalata.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest, V.K Magotra, former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in the presence of Guest of Honour, Former Deputy Director, Health Department Dr. Tara Singh Charak and Sohan Lal Verma, Ajeet Sharma, Uttam Singh, K.K Joshi and Hem Raj.
The music was composed by renowned singer Raju Bajgal.
In welcome address M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS said Makar Sankranti is celebrated as a very important festival in India. The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the play were K.K Joshi, Hem Raj, M.C Kotwal, Raju Bajgal, Zulelkha Farid and Kamli Devi. Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
