SAMBA: Continuing party’s campaign to visit every flood affected family, Member of Parliament and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Jugal Kishore Sharma along with State Vice-President Chander Prakash Ganga, senior leaders- Farooq Khan, Sunil Sethi (Adv.), Brigadier Anil Gupta, MLA Sham Choudhary, Distt. President Kashmir Singh and other undertook extensive touring of Balole, Khara Madana, Uttar Behni, Kamor, Keso Manasa, Nud, Papad, Bain Glad, Kapai and Samba town falling in Samba District to meet the people, take stock of their problems and the losses caused to them by the recent floods.
Taking stock of the damages, Jugal observed that are in need of immediate help. The crass and unethical politics is writ large in the aftermath of the floods wherein the henchmen of the ministers in their constituencies are receiving windfall monetary largesse under the pretext of relief, though may not have suffered any loss during the floods and the overwhelming majority of the victims have been left high and dry to fend for themselves on their own.
He assured the flood-hit that BJP will not rest till they are not fully rehabilitated.
Sunil Sethi said that whatever has happened is very unfortunate but we cannot sit as mute spectators but need to come forward to extend helping hand to the people in their hour of grief and sorrow.
