CHHAMB: Former Himachal Pradesh Health Minister Rajiv Kumar Bindal on Friday chaired a booth level meeting of BJP workers in Pargwal area of Chamb Constituency wherein he appealed to the party workers to work at the grass root level for spreading the message of BJP leadership among the masses.
The meeting was also attended by party in-charge Chamb and Akhnoor Constituency Bansi Lal Bharti and Suraj Singh Bhau-State Additional Publicity Secretary who highlighted the local issues with the senior leader of the Bhartiya Janta Party during the meeting. Bharti apprised Bindal about the widespread corruption in the Education Department that is headed by none other than the Congress candidate from Chamb and Deputy Chief Minister of the State.
Bindal launched a veiled attack on all the regional parties of the State saying-“If BJP forms a government on its own, the party will inquire where the money has gone which Centre had released to the State on several occasions”. He said that corruption, nepotism and favouritism increased manifold in all the government departments of Jammu and Kashmir under the dynastic political rulers.
Further, he said that in the government of BJP there will be no discrimination with Jammu region and all the three regions of the State will witness equitable development.
Bindal asked the youth to strengthen the Shakti Kendras and ensure maximum participation of voters in favour of the BJP’s contesting candidate from Chamb Constituency.
Other senior leaders who were present in the meeting included Pandit Mela Ram-Mandal President, G. S Chib-General Secretary, Manmohan Singh, Balwan Singh, Ankush Choudhary, Kasturi Lal, Ramesh, Jaswant Singh, Sukh Dev, Arjun Singh and Bhupinder Singh.
