BJP assigns responsibilities to senior leaders
JAMMU: J&K BJP assigned the responsibilities of various party Cells to senior leaders of party.
Former Dy CM Dr. Nirmal Singh is assigned the responsibility for the Ex. Servicemen Cell, VDC Cell and Border Area Welfare cell. Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta is assigned the responsibility for Panchayati Raj Cell and Urban Local Bodies Cell. Former Minister Sat Sharma is assigned the responsibility for Professional cell, Employees Cell and Senior Citizen Cell. J&K BJP Vice-President Surjit Singh Slathia is assigned the responsibility for Refugee Cell, Human Rights Cell and Legal Cell. Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana is assigned the responsibility for Industries & Traders Cell, Transport Cell and Cooperative Cell.
Senior party leader Rakesh Mahajan is assigned the responsibility forHealth & Medical Cell, Sanskriti Cell, Sports, Art & Culture Cell and Weavers Cell.
Senior party leader Ved Raj Sharma shall coordinate all the Cells.
BJP National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul along with other senior party leaders assigned the responsibilities of various party Cells to its senior leaders.
Tarun Chugh said that the party’s Cells are very important for the progression of party activities. He said that in order to improve the working of party’s Cells in Jammu & Kashmir, senior party leaders have been assigned the responsibility to see the utmost functioning of the party’s Cells.
He said that this exercise would ensure that the activities of Cells would be enhanced in Kashmir region along with Jammu region in accordance with the party’s principles and people’s expectations.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Dy. CM Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and All Cell Incharge Rakesh Mahajan accompanied Tarun Chugh in the meetings.
J&K Incharges and Co-Incharges of BJP Cells, senior party leaders from districts Core Groups of Udhampur, Reasi, Jammu Rural and Akhnoor participated in separate meetings.
Tarun Chugh stressed that in the coming elections in J&K, the BJP would form the government on its own and all the Cells of the party along with other activists have to play an important role in ensuring the same.
He also said that the welfare and development policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have brought dramatic change in minds of the people in J&K.
‘People want peace and progress that the Prime minister has given to J&K and all party activists must do their part effectively,” he said.
Tarun Chugh laid emphasis on the efficient working of the party’s cells.
He said that the party’s cells have the responsibility to increase the base of BJP in every sector by strengthening the functioning of the organization.
He while interacting with cell convenors said that without an organizational frame work cell conveners cannot be effective in their Party activities and hence state and district level cell bodies must hold continuous meetings.
He further added that appropriate feedback from the party activists to the Party is a must.
Ravinder Raina said that BJP ground-level workers are the “key of success” of the party.
BJP activist is always ready to undertake any uphill task and move together for the success of mission, which is “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas”.
Posing faith in their efficient working he said that they need to give further pace to their organizational and development tasks while working in accordance with the expectations of the common masses.
