JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina on Friday felicitated U-18 India Volleyball Team Captain Kartik Sharma under whose leadership India won the Bronze Medal in Young Asia Cup tournament held in Iran.
Ravinder Raina, while felicitating Kartik Sharma said that hailing from a remote border village Bagnoti of Nowshera, has captained the Under 18 Volleyball team and won a medal in Iran in International Tournament is a big big achievement of Kartik Sharma.
Raina said that Kartik and his team mates played exceptionally well and won the medal for India after 14 years of long gap, making us all proud. Boosting the morale of Kartik Sharma, Raina said whole country wish that this team which qualified for world cup will definitely bring proud to the Nation as well.
Speaking on the occasion Kartik Sharma thanked BJP President Ravinder Raina and all other senior BJP leaders for felicitating him. He said that they won the medal in the 14th youth Asian Championship and said that they will play the best in the world cup and definitely try to win the U-18 Volleyball World Cup.
