BJP-PDP Govt. working against interest of Jammu: Manohar

HIRANAGAR: Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Senior Congress Leader, PCC General Secretary and former Minister on Tuesday convened a Congress Samelan of Block Congress Hiranagar and Kandi Block at Jandyal Bhavan, Hiranagar in which Distt. Congress President Subash Gupta, Naresh Sharma former President Municipal Council, Kathua and a large number of prominent citizens including Congress delegates participated.

While addressing the gathering, Dr Manohar said that the State BJP and PDP Govt. is working against the interest of the people of the Jammu province particularly against the youth since its formation.

Dr. Sharma said that the State BJP Govt. crossed all limits to satisfy their greed for power in the past three years and compromised the interest of the people of their core constituencies whether it may be due share in employment, fund allotment in different sectors and equal share in major projects to the three regions of the State.

Dr. Sharma said that there is enough anger among the youth of Jammu Province over the discriminatory attitude of the State Govt. and its recruitment agencies, but the state BJP Govt. doesn’t bother to listen to the youth and rectify their wrong policies of employment.

All the participants strongly criticised the anti-people policies of the BJP Govt. at the national as well as the State level like price rise, unemployment, corruption and lack of basic facilities like drinking water, ration and sugar in Govt. fair price shops and disruption of electricity supply.

Prominent people who spoke on the occasion were Capt. Tara Chand, Murari Lal, Surinder Singh, Sarpanch Tilak Raj Srama,  Anant Nam Dogra, Paveen Bhagat, Ramesh Kundal, Ajeet Kumar (Rtd. Ranger), Ranjit Singh( Youth Leader).
