Saroori further added that Congress led by Ghulam Nabi Azad during its tenure of just two and half years had proved how to provide good governance to the people.
With BJP party skirting any statement on Article 370, Saroori said BJP is shying away from committing on this contentious issue and is instead keeping its “feet in two boats” in Jammu and Kashmir which normally ends up “sinking”.
Saroori also said BJP talking in different voices on Article 370 that grants special status to J and K and avoiding making a direct statement on the issue during the Assembly polls.
At Samba Saroori also condemned the attack on a school in Peshawar Pakistan in which at least 124 children were killed, saying there is never a justification for terrorism. Terming the attack as “crime against humanity”, he said prayers are with the families and loved ones of all those who lost their lives or were injured in this barbaric incident.
