JAMMU: Reiterating his demand to end discrimination with Jammu region, State President, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Rajiv Mahajan said that discrimination was suffered by the people of Jammu at the hands of Kashmiri leaders and successive State and Central Governments sit as mute spectators for the same.
“The various governments at the State and Centre were not only a mute spectators but also followed a policy of appeasement to the Kashmiri leadership that continues till today,” said Rajiv Mahajan, in a statement issued on Tuesday.
This policy, he said, not only discouraged the people of Jammu but also made the Kashmiri leadership more discriminating towards people of Jammu region.

He said it is sad that the Kashmiri people chose to live with militancy and support Pakistan instead of India but it is sadder for people of Jammu that they chose to be peaceful and be a part of India and yet be treated like a stepchild.
