R S PURA: In the wake of ongoing membership drive of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), MLA RS Pura Gagan Bhagat said that with the large scale support of countrymen, the strength of BJP members has exceeded 10 crores. He said that the party has emerged as the biggest party of the world.
A meeting of the senior leaders and party workers was held under the leadership of District President Sat Pal Pappy in which incharge of the drive Amarjit Singh was the Chief Guest.
Bhagat said that the credit for such a record number of members, goes to the dedicated workers of the party. The workers on this occasion highlighted their problems in proceeding with this drive which were duly acknowledged by senior leaders. Bhagat assured them that the party would ensure that their problems are addressed first. MLA Sham Choudhary and others also spoke on the occasion.
