JAMMU: Highlighting key mega-developmental projects and welfare schemes launched during two years of BJP-led NDA government at the Centre and 10 months of coalition government in J and K, BJP Marh Mandal on Friday organised ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ here at Gajansoo.
The Yatra was presided over by Organising Secretary Ashok Koul. The rally was attended by large number of BJP workers, booth Incharges, Panchs and Sarpanchs. Koul praised all the workers of the constituency for reposing their faith in BJP by re-electing Ch Sukhnandan as their MLA.
He said it has become possible only due to the hard work and dedication of party workers.
He said that this Yatra is organised to inform about the welfare schemes launched by the Central Government besides achievements of State government partnered by BJP. Koul further said that during two years of BJP led NDA Government at the Centre and 10 months coalition in J and K in previous Government, a number of mega developmental projects and dozens of welfare schemes have been launched for the welfare of people of State.
MLA Marh, Ch Sukhnandan said that BJP as coalition partner, curbed corruption, provided people centric Government with focus on women empowerment and welfare of weaker sections, youth, farmers, etc.
He asked the party activists to be more active in view of the forthcoming elections of ULBs and Panchayats and appealed to the people to avail the benefits of welfare schemes and not fall prey to propaganda of opposition parties on NFSA and other people friendly schemes.
