BJP lets down people of J&K on all fronts: Bhalla

JKPCC organises Jai Bharat Satyagraha March at Bagh-e-Bahu

STATE TIMES NEWS

JAMMU: JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla, District Incharge Yogesh Sawhney, Satish Sharma, Uday Bhanu Chib today led an impressive Jai Bharat Satyagraha March at Bagh-e-Bahu organized by Block-9 and Block-11, Block Presidents Pardeep Bhalla and Jatinder Singh Chib.
Addressing the Jai Bharat Satyagraha programme, Bhalla said that the entire government machinery is working to save Adani, which is also playing with the country’s security.
He said that freedom of expression is being curtailed. People are worried about inflation. “They are unable to even feed their children with milk, the price of cooking gas has crossed Rs 1000, petrol and diesel have crossed Rs 100, the poor villagers are not getting flour and oil. But the Modi government of the country is not worried about it. Together we will take this struggle forward and win. We need your support to fight a war of freedom and uproot the government that saved the country’s property. Satyagraha is needed to save democracy, because the government sitting at the center is bent on weakening democracy,” he said.
Bhalla reminded the BJP of the massive 2014 Jammu mandate for development and welfare and said that instead of doing a little bit in this regard they pushed the entire region to the wall. The developmental machinery came to a grinding halt and the utility services suffered major jolt due to the self-centred approach of the BJP leaders.
Bhalla said that while the Jammu and Kashmir Government is spending crores and crores rupees on its publicity to mislead the Union Government, it is the first time in history that the Jammu region is experiencing unprecedented unscheduled power cuts in April. Power cuts are not only confined to unmetered areas but even in the metered areas-where consumers are regularly paying their bills, are experiencing hours-long unscheduled and unprecedented power cuts. With the return of unprecedented power cuts, the Jammu region appears to be plunged into a dark age thanks to insensitive, arrogant bureaucrats at the helm of the affairs.
In the last ten days the Jammu region witnessed historic power cuts. For the last two days, many parts of the Jammu region are confronting with unscheduled power cuts after repeated intervals, which is a clear indication that all claims of the authorities are confined only to papers, added Bhalla.
Yogesh Sawhney castigated BJP for indulging in rhetoric and playing unethical politics by scheming against the overall interests of people. He hoped the people have not forgotten the BJP duplicity while expressing confidence that they will put their decisive decision on the day of reckoning.
