KARGIL: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kargil under the leadership of District President Kargil Haji Ghulam Mohammad Khuddam called upon the Chief Engineer NHPC Chutuk Hydel Project Kargil Ashok Kumar Guru and welcomed him for his posting in Kargil.
The delegation which was also accompanied by Mohammad Subhan Jaffary State Executive Member and Mohammad Ali District General Secretary, and put forward some of the problems being faced by the people of Kargil due to interruption in power supply, employees related issues etc.
The delegation requested the CE to make functional all the Sub Centers and 66KVa lines so that people of Sankoo Region, Shargole, Shakar Chiktan and other areas may not suffer on which Ashok Kumar assured for all possible action and have said that in near future he will visit to the nearby substation to assess the progress. The delegation requested the Chief Engineer to regularise the salary problem of the local labourers working at Chutuk Hydel Project and also requested for enhancement of salary of the local labourers keeping in view the current scenario and the delegation also presented a letter from the Labour Union to the Chief Engineer.
Ashok Kumar Guru assured the delegation that the salary paid to the labourers will be made unanimous and will try all possible options to increase the salaries according to the inflation.
