ANANTNAG: BJP National Executive Member & senior party leader Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday handed over Mandate letters of South Kashmir candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party at an impressive event held at Anantnag.
She was accompanied by former MLC & senior party leader Charanjeet Singh Khalsa & others. Amid loud sloganeering, Andrabi was accorded a warm welcome on her arrival in BJP office at Anantnag.
Dr Darakhshan handed over mandate letters to Mohammad Rafiq Wani (Anantnag West), Advocate Syed Wajahat (Anantnag), Sofi Yousuf (Sirgufwara-Bijbehara), Vir Saraf (Shangus-Anantnag), Javed Ahmad Qadiri (Shopian) & Arshid Bhat (Rajpora).
“BJP is in the fray in J&K on the agenda of peace, prosperity and development ensured by Modi.
We are proud of achievements and we are in the contest for a change in the political scenario of J&K”, said Dr Andrabi after the event.
While talking to media, she said that our leaders and workers are confidant of huge public support in all parts of J&K and we are the only political party which cannot be accused of double speak.
“It is because of BJP that we are living in peaceful atmosphere where our youth are not forced into suicidal actions anymore. BJP has broken the sinister nexus between separatists and their pseudo mainstream political leaders”, said Andrabi.
She said that it sounds like a crude joke when we hear dynasts claiming that they will resolve people’s problems.
“Problem creators are shamelessly trying to befool people by saying that they will address to public issues. They ruled for decades and only exploited the youth and nurtured violence and divisions.
Their manifestos are yet again aimed at dividing people and creating unrest in J&K”, said BJP National Executive Member. Andrabi congratulated the nominated candidates and wishes them good luck.
