BJP Govt breaking all records in hoodwinking its own people: Bhalla

JAMMU: Coming down heavily on the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre for its failure to handle the situation in J&K, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Wednesday said alienation among people has increased manifold during eight -years tenure of BJP rule.
Addressing party workers at Model Town of Gandhi Nagar constituency, Bhalla said worst-ever misgovernance and misrule left the people of J&K in the lurch and the overall situation deteriorated in the Kashmir valley. The meeting was organized by by Inderjeet Kour Corporator Ward 57 and also addressed by Satish Sharma Secy JKPCC, Rajinder Randhawa , Surinder Singh Dutta ,Davinder Singh Laddi, Surjeet Singh, SK Raina, Kewal, Ashok Kumar, Janak Raj, Madan Chowdhary, Harbans Singh, Paramjeet Singh Manga beside others.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla said BJP remained engaged in a tug of war during their entire period in office so far, which caused great harm to the secular and social fabric of J&K,” he said, adding that the BJP has mastery of falsehood and fake slogans and pursued destructive and divisive politics in the country. He said the Congress always strengthened democracy and countered the anti-national and anti-democracy forces at the cost of sacrifices. He said BJP, which targeted Congress and other parties over the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s, is in power at the Centre and is now answerable for the series of killings in Kashmir under its rule.” While attacking BJP government at the centre, Bhalla said that since the change of guard happened in New Delhi, the prices of essential commodities have increased manifold. He claimed that after mirror shown to BJP in DDC elections where it could win only 75 out of 280 seats, it is day dreaming and befooling people and BJP can never come to power in J&K again.
Taking a dig at LG Administration, Bhalla said, it is acting as the agent of the central government. He said, “The union government’s policies are putting common people into trouble. He also said that the Prime Minister is not ready to address public issues, instead, keeps speaking in ‘Mann kiBaat’ programme.
