BJP election incharge, activists attacked, hospitalised

BISHNAH : Sarpanch Vijay Saini, Election Incharge of BJP candidate from Bishnah Assembly Constituency, his brother Subash Chander and party activist Sat Pal were attacked by some miscreants soon after a public rally was over in Chakra village on Sunday. They were attacked as soon as the party candidate Ashwani Sharma completed his address.
Sarpanch Vijay Saini received severe injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu, where he was hospitalised for treating his head injury.
Soon after receiving the news of the attack and shifting of the injured to Jammu, a large number of BJP senior leaders including Cabinet Minister of Haryana Om Prakash Dhankad, BJP Morcha and Cells National Convener Mohinder Pandey, State Spokesperson Sunil Sethi(Adv.), MLA Pawan Saini, Pramodh Kapahi and others, reached the GMC Emergency ward to enquire about the condition and the treatment being given to him.
The Bishnah Police which immediately swung into action arrested the attackers including Nand Lal son of Mulakj Raj, Sanjeev Saini and Joginder Saini sons of Paras Ram.
