VIJAYPUR: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Monday held a strong protest demonstration against the BJP-PDP Government for their controversial statements with regard to HM Commander’s killing by security forces and also burnt effigy of Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh.
Accusing the BJP of compromising national interest for the sake of power, Congress workers under the leadership of former Minister and JKPCC General Secretary Manjit Singh assembled here and protested against the government.
Speaking before the protesters, Manjit Singh alleged that DyCM has given a wrong statement which is against the national interest and its integrity. “Dy CM has termed the incident as accident. It shows BJP has compromised everything for chair but Congress will not tolerate any anti-national statement or support for separatists,” he added.
He further said that Nirmal Singh and his team has been toeing line of separatists and supporting militancy in Kashmir as violence graph has increased from the day, coalition came into being in Jammu and Kashmir.
With such statements, he said, the BJP has exposed itself before the people while stating that CM Mehbooba Mufti wanted to give “Safe passage to Burhan Wani.”

He said that Congress will never allow any anti-national activities in Jammu and Kashmir and those political parties who support them directly or indirectly need to be exposed.
