BJP should come out of coalition following CM’s statement: Congress

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: General Secretary JKPCC, Vikram Malhotra questioned BJP as to how it is morally and ethically right for the party to continue its coalition with PDP when Chief Minister on the floor of House has stated that those speaking for abrogation or dilution of Article 370 are committing the biggest anti-national act.
Reacting to the situation following the statement of Chief Minister, Malhotra said that BJP which always stood for abrogation of Article 370, being the main agenda of the party, its continuing in the coalition in the State is biggest surrender on all moral, ethical and political fronts and betrayal of the mandate sought by BJP on this plank. He said that if there is slightest value left in the BJP, it should come out of coalition following the statement of Chief Minister. He further said that BJP has already sacrificed its stand and agenda and betrayed the mandate of people for forming coalition with ideologically opposite PDP. It is manifestly clear now that BJP is the most opportunist and power hungry party, he added. Malhotra added that the crisis in the present government is evident from the fact that almost every day the MLAs from the treasury benches are either jumping into the Well of the House sssor staging walk outs in protest against their own government.
