BJP can’t run away too long, will have to face people’s raging anger: Bhalla

JAMMU: Trikuta Nagar Welfare Association (TNWA) on felicitated JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla for his continuous social service in various fields and extended full support to former Minister in the forthcoming Urban Local Body elections. Meanwhile, Bhalla was also apprised of the problems being faced by residents of the locality. The felicitation programme organized at Trikuta Nagar Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Center. The programme was organized by PCC Delicate & DCC General Secretary Aman Bawa. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Sr. Citizens Chairman Congress Krishan Lal Gupta, Sr. Citizens Trikuta Nagar President Baldev Raj Gupta, SC Verma, Dr. Sharyansh Kr Jain State Yoga Commissioner, Kuldeep Arora, Tilak Raj Gupta Yoga Inspector, BR Kundal, Ashwani Gupta, Sanchar Chand Gupta, Jagmohan Gupta, Arun Gupta besides others. Bhalla highlighted rising inflation, high unemployment and erosion of social fabric. He said during more than nine years of BJP government, inflation and unemployment have hit the common man hard. Bhalla observed that BJP is insensitive towards the problems of the youth. There is resentment among people and the youths are angry. The history of the Congress Party is the story of adherence to the high moral and ethical pedestal in public life. A master dream seller that our PM Narendra Modi is virtually known for now was handed over the command of electioneering. Urging Union Govt to hold assembly elections in J&K without a further delay, Bhalla said, “Selecting their own representatives to serve in the government is a fundamental democratic right that must not be denied to the people. We have faith in the democratic values of our country, and we aspire to the same rights that are enjoyed by people in other regions of the country.” Bhalla promised that if the party is elected to form the government, it will undertake a series of initiatives to ensure social justice and economic benefits for the people. He said, “we have a vision and a roadmap to ensure the economic empowerment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I assure you that we will ensure impartial development of all regions and prosperity for all citizens, regardless of their regional, religious, or political affiliations.”
