JAMMU: Hailing the decision of government for implementing Guest Control Order in Jammu and Kashmir State, All Biradari Welfare Forum, Jammu province, said it will organise seminars in their Biradaris for awakening of the people and strict implementation of the order on the ground.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Vinod Gupta, President Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha said, “We are happy with the decision taken by the government but the government should implement it strictly in the State.”
While hailing the decision, he said that this decision of the government has become possible only after the continuous efforts of all Biradaris and continuous perusal with the government for the last three years.
Vinod and presidents of other Biradaris also requested the members of all Biradaris to support the implementation of the order strictly on the ground.
The Presidents of the Biradaris namely Ved Parkash Sharma, Narain Singh, Piran Ditta, Murari Lal Balgotra, Vinod Malhotra, Anoop Aggarwal, Rattan Lal Gupta, Captain Biru Ram and Kamal Singh Choudhary appealed to the government and the members of their Biradaris that there should be complete ban on cocktail parties.
Others who were present in the press conference included Choudhary Manmohan Singh, R.N Gandotra, Bodh Raj Rao, Sat Pal, Bansi Lal Choudhary, Rampal Seth and Bodh Raj Sharma.
