Jammu: A group of attackers made an unsuccessful attempt to target former Deputy Chief Minister (DyCM) Tara Chand during his visit to Khour area on late last evening.
Alert cops deployed with the former DyCM Tara Chand reacted swiftly on suspecting attack.
The suspected armed men managed to flee from the spot. The matter was reported to police and investigations in this regard have been started. Police has zeroed in some suspects. However, investigations are under process.
