JAMMU: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party and Chief Organiser of Coordination Committee of Heart to Heart Talks has urged the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to hold 3rd ‘Heart to Heart’ talks between the representatives of political and social groups from Gilgit-Baltistan, PoK and J&K.
Earlier, similar conferences were convened by Prof. Bhim Singh in 2005 and 2007 during the tenure of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
“Earlier, these talks made a tremendous impact on the movement to promote peaceful co-existence between India and Pakistan.
The movement was halted after the BJP and its allies took over the power in the Centre and did not allow these talks to continue”, Bhim said in a statement.
Prof. Bhim, who has decided to hold the 3rd Heart to Heart Talks has urged the Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan for a permission to hold this session amongst the leadership of all the regions of the united State of J&K in Delhi and also in Islamabad which may help India and Pakistan to shake hands and revive the pre-1947 era of goodwill and brotherhood among the people of United India.
“Bullets are no solution. Allow the people of J&K to talk freely, openly and without fear as was initiated by the joint leadership of the representatives of J&K in 2005 and 2007”, he added.
