Bhatia Cricket Under-15 League Stadium XI, Bhatia Academy win opening ties

JAMMU: Rythem played knock of a life-time when he scored unbeaten 114 runs of just 83 balls to help Stadium XI to comfortable 165-run win over The Cricket Club in the Bhatia Cricket Under-15 League being organised by Bhatia Cricket Academy, here on Sunday.
Stadium XI won the toss and elected to bat first. Rythem 114 of just 83 balls provided a decent platform for middle order where Kanhiya excelled superbly by scoring 58 of just 35 balls followed by Chitra who added 20 runs to the total of 274 runs for the loss of four wickets. For The Cricket Club, Shabak picked three wickets while Shubanz took one. Batting second, The Cricket Club failed to face the bowling attack of opponent and was bundled out for 99 runs in 23.4 overs. Only Dhananjay touched double figures with 30 runs while Jatin made nine runs. Abinav Khajuria was wrecker-in-chief, who clinched five wicket in six overs giving only 12 runs. Dhruv took two wickets. For the brilliant batting performance, Rythem was named Man of the Match.
In another match, Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA) outplayed Rising Star XI by 89 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, BCA set a target of 174 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 25 overs. Abhishek Motten was the top scorer with 41 runs off 30 balls with the help of five boundaries while Anil with the help of two boundaries and one six made 31 runs while Rohit with his exemplary agility made 28 runs off 11 balls smashing three balls to fence and two sixes. Aditya grabbed three wickets while Sayam took two for Rising Star XI. In reply Rising Star managed to score 85 runs for the loss of six wickets. Aditya and Aprajit were top scorers with 26 and 16 runs respectively. For BCA, Ramneek picked three wickets followed by Gitansh, Hanzla and Abishek Motton , who took one each.
For his all round performance, Abishek Motton was declared Man of the Match.
