JAMMU: Thakur Randeep Bhandari, Spokesperson Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), held a significant meeting with LG Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. During this meeting, Bhandari eloquently presented a comprehensive charter of demands to the LG. These demands ranged from the establishment of a mountaineering institute and a Sports Stadium in Kishtwar to addressing healthcare needs by filling vacant positions of doctors and para-medical staff in DH Kishtwar.
Additionally, Bhandari advocated for fixing rates of sandstone and bajri at Kishtwar, extending from Kalamsater to Pootinag, including Padder and Warwan. Other crucial aspects covered in the charter included a special package for the development of temples, shrines, and the tourism sector, as well as the creation of a Rose Garden in Kishtwar.
Notably, Bhandari emphasised the implementation of central wages for contract employees of CVPPL and NHPC, sought action against companies causing environmental concerns in the Chenab region, and pushed for a Public Health Center (PHC) at Anjole. The charter also called for transparency in the recruitment process within the power projects of Kishtwar.
LG Manoj Sinha patiently listened to the grievances and assured a timely redressal of genuine issues.
