JAMMU: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Sunday visited various Eidgahs of his home constituency included Malik Market in Narwal, Karayani Talab, Macca Masjid in Bathindi and Digiana and exchanged Eid-ul Azha greetings with Muslim brethren. Interacting with the Muslim brethren, Bhalla hoped that the Eid-ul-Azha will bring prosperity and welfare for the whole community of J&K.
He said “Let us celebrate Eid with religious sanctity and traditional fervour for amity and brotherhood and spread the message of love and peace to all”.
He asked for sharing Eid joys with poor and needy which is the essence of Eid celebrations.
Former Minister said that the day symbolises love, compassion and kindness. He asserted that Eid-ul-Azha reminds us of our responsibility towards poor and needy and inculcates the spirit of sharing happiness and joy with everyone.
He maintained that Islam teaches peace, brotherhood, amity and love besides tolerance and patience.
Bhalla stated Eid is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the teachings of Islam and preaching’s of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
