JAMMU: Former Minister Raman Bhalla on Saturday visited Narwal area where three people died and six other got injured in a devastating fire that destroyed over 150 “Jhuggis” in Jammu.
Former Sarpanch Kasturi Lal, Ex-Panch Billa, Shabir Kohli, Raju, Ward President Dewan Chand, Gopal, Ashok Kumar and others also accompanied the former Minister. Interacting with the affected families, Bhalla was told that three charred bodies were brought to the mortuary of the hospital during the night while six persons suffering critical burn injuries were being treated
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla asked authorities in particular to come to the rescue of fire victims and ensure proper treatment in government hospitals besides ensuring food and clothing for the members of victims and people of Jammu to extend their helping hand to encourage them to make a fresh beginning after the devastating fire.
