SRINAGAR: Minister for Revenue, Javed Mustaf Mir on Thursday asked the officers of Social Welfare and ICDS Departments to be polite and generous with the applicants coming to them for availing benefits of welfare schemes launched in the State.
“This destitute section of the society deserves financial support” said the minister and asked the officers to extend every help and guide them properly.
The minister was reviewing the status of the schemes being executed by Social Welfare and ICDS Departments.
The minister said that launching of welfare schemes was aimed to provide financial support to this downtrodden section of the society, adding that our mission should be to mitigate their sufferings. He asked them to follow the norms fixed for the schemes and keep in account the merit of the applicant. “I will not allow anyone to go wrong while dealing with such cases” exhorted the minister and asked the officers to support the deserving persons wholeheartedly.
