BBIA flays BSNL for poor services in industrial complex

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Bari Brahmana Industries Association expressed concern over the difficulties being faced by the industrialist of Bari Brahmana due to poor quality of landline and broad band services of BSNL in the industrial complex.
In the meeting held here on Saturday, President BBIA, Lalit Mahajan raised serious concern about the frequent disruption in the Internet service due to poor maintenance of existing land line and broad band services and the non-availability of the spare parts in the exchange resulting in Internet service remaining effected during the working hours on regular basis.
“The position is turned from poor to worst due to damage of underground cable in the industrial complex as the department has failed to repair/replace the faulty cable. Whenever we contact the concerned offices in this regard, they always give a lame excuse that due to non-availability of cable it is not possible to repair/replace the faulty cable,” he added. BBIA requested the Chief General Manager of BSNL to look into the matter and resolve the issue on priority basis. Suresh Mahajan, Senior Vice President, Varun Singla Vice President, Ajay Langer General Secretary, Vivek Singhal Secretary and Viraaj Malhotra Treasurer BBIA were also present.
