SRINAGAR: Bashir Ahmad Dar assumed the charge of Director Information & Public Relations here this
morning. Bashir, who at present is posted as
Special Secretary in Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has earlier served in various
capacities in State administration, including
Special Secretary,
General Administration Department and Deputy Commissioner, Ramban.
On the occasion, the officers and officials of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations welcomed Dar on his joining and warm send-off was given to the out-going Director Zubair Ahmad who has been posted as Special Secretary Home.
