Bali Bhagat inspects sites for Composite Home, GDC at Gharota

JAMMU: Minister for Forest and Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat, on Monday inspected proposed sites for Composite Home and Degree College at Gharota during his extensive tour to Raipur-Domana constituency.

The minister reviewed various development projects being executed in the area under different schemes besides taking stock of public grievances.

The minister visited 105 Kanal state land at Gharota being proposed for establishment of Government Degree College besides inspecting site comprising 16 Kanal of land at Gharota Ghaink being proposed for construction of Composite Home.

The minister directed the revenue authorities to earmark this land for construction of these two prestigious projects which are ideal locations for raising this infrastructure in view of feasibility and viability of the area.

Taking strong notice of some encroachments on this identified land, the minister directed the concerned authorities to take stringent action against the encroachers and retrieve the state land at the earliest. He also asked them to keep a strict vigil over any further such encroachment as these hampers the process of growth and development of an area.
