Bajrang Dal protests against custodial torture

JAMMU: Alleging torture of an innocent youth namely Vicky Choudhary by the official of Police Department, the Bajrang Dal on Saturday held a strong protest in front of the Office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu demanding suspension of the officer.
Speaking on the occasion, State Convenor, Naveen Sudan, said that the accused Yasir Ahmed has been safely kept in the police custody while those who protested against his most heinous crime, have been tortured by giving them third degree treatment.
Police official of Police Station Pacca Danga also thrashed Vicky Choudhary brutally resulting in serious injuries. He said a deputation of Bajrang Dal had also met DIG Ashkoor Wani and submitted a written complaint against the official but till date no action has been taken against him by police.
Protesters asked district administration to transfer police officer to Kashmir Valley to face the anger of stone palters.
State Co-Convenor Rakesh Sharma, Kartik Sudan, Govind, Sagar Sharma, Aasthik Kohli, Rakshit, Malang and Shubham were also present in the protest.
