UDHAMPUR: A mega Ayush camp was organised at Roundmail, Tehsil Ramnagar, Udhampur on Wednesday.
The camp was inaugurated by Sarpanch Rameshwar Sharma in presence of local Panch Vijay Sharma, Opinion Leaders Om Praksh Verma, Dharam Singh Ramyal , Kripa Ram Sharma and Jagdut Padha.
While speaking on the occasion the Sarpanch appreciated the noble step initiated by the Directorate General of Indian Systems of Medicine, J and K, Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, in providing awareness as well as medicines to the general public of the area. He stressed upon the department to organise such camps in near future on routine basis.
During the camp 311 patients were examined by the expert Ayurvedic/ Unani Doctors and provided free medicines.
A team of medical and Para- Medical Staff who rendered services include MOs Dr. Sanjay Raina , Dr. Rakesh Pandita , Dr. Shruti Chadda , Dr. Harbaksh Singh and Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Pharmacists Rohit Gupta, Anil Sharma, Sham Lal and Purshotam Kumar ( Class- IV ).
The ADMO, Udhampur Dr. Anil Kant Gupta, thanked the local Panchyat for showing keen interest and full faith in Indian System of Medicine. He also thanked Director General, ISM and the whole team for organising such a mega event in Udhampur District.
